– Current Health Insurance Cards Valid Until March 31 –

Your current health insurance card can be used until March 31, 2026.

However, starting April 1, 2026, you will need one of the following:

• My Number Card (used as a health insurance card)
• Presentation via smartphone
• Certificate of Eligibility (Shikaku Kakunin-sho)

Our clinic has installed a card reader that supports both My Number Cards and smartphone verification.
You may use either your physical card or your smartphone for a smooth check-in process.

■ How to Verify Your Insurance After April 1, 2026

From April 1, 2026, insurance eligibility at medical institutions will be verified using one of the following:

1. My Number Card (as Health Insurance Card)

Simply tap your card on the reader at reception.
Your insurance eligibility will be confirmed online.

2. Smartphone Verification

You may display your My Number health insurance information on your smartphone.
Our dedicated reader can scan and verify it.

3. Certificate of Eligibility

If you are not using a My Number Card, please present your Certificate of Eligibility issued by your insurer.
