FAQ

FAQ

What makes your clinic different from others?
  1. We take the time to listen carefully to what each patient has to say and provide thorough medical examinations.
  2. In the case of children, we listen to what the mother and father have to say and observe the child’s response and behavior while providing treatment.
  3. During consultations, the clinic is essentially reserved for private use, so patients are not allowed to come in with other patients. It is important that patients can visit us in a relaxed atmosphere and in a comfortable environment.
Can anyone get examined?
  1. There is no age limit. Anyone can come for a consultation. However, if you are seeking child development support, you must have already had your 18-month checkup.
  2. We are happy to answer any questions you may have, whether it is your first visit or an online consultation.
  3. Please feel free to make a reservation here.
Can I use my insurance card?
  1. We are an elective clinic. We do not accept health insurance cards.
  2. However, if you are a foreigner and have medical insurance, you can make a claim to your insurance company yourself. Please contact us for details.
Please tell me what to bring on the day

My Number card or ID such as passport, driver’s license, or health insurance card
Medical information sheet (if you have a referral letter)
Medical record (if you are taking any medication)
Mother and child health record (to confirm developmental history)
Letter from the doctor (if there is anything that shows the situation at the nursery or elementary school)
Developmental test results (if you have been treated at a special education center or another hospital)
*We do not provide insurance treatment at our hospital, so insurance cards and medical vouchers cannot be used.

Do I need a referral?

If you have not yet visited a doctor for the symptoms you are discussing, you do not need a referral.

If you have a history of visiting a developmental outpatient clinic or a psychiatric hospital, we ask for a referral from your previous doctor so that we can understand your condition and the medications you have been taking. If it is difficult to submit a referral, just your medication book will be fine.

Please tell me the process from reservation to payment.

I don’t want anyone to know my personal information…

Medical professionals have a duty of confidentiality and are not allowed to disclose information learned in the course of their work to others. Medical institutions will not contact companies, and medical institutions will not respond to inquiries from companies without the consent of the patient.

Depending on the illness, our hospital may receive inquiries from police stations or courts. However, we respond in the same way to requests for disclosure of information, and we will not respond unless the patient clearly consents.

Family members may also contact us about the patient’s medical treatment status, but in this case, the confidentiality obligation applies and we cannot answer. If a family member wants to know the patient’s medical information, they should visit the hospital with the patient, or have the patient directly tell the doctor that it is OK to answer inquiries from the family.

The only time confidentiality is not applied is when the patient is deemed to be at risk of self-harm or harm to others (when there is a suspicion of an imminent medical condition that could cause harm to themselves or others).
